Back in the penthouse, I shared my garden with 3 sunbirds who were small chirpy and cheerful... and they only ate fruits - mulberries and curry berries. Now, I have to share my garden with flocks of pigeons, mynahs and sparrows who have taken a fancy to my Mediterranean herbs. They had completely uprooted my thyme... trimmed my rosemary... decapitated my sage... pecked my Japanese bamboo to shreds.
There is bird shit all over.
The Husband was so smart. He went to buy me these plastic snakes and the birds have all stayed away, except for one mynah (whom I shall devise a way to trap and eat). How does roast mynah sound to you?

Woah. They look real! I thought you had an infestation of snakes! But I know what you mean. Bird shit is awful and mynahs are noisy as well.
OKC - Yeah... the sunbirds were so much nicer.
remember the salt + pepper! hehehe....
yes your husband very smart Petunia to think of using snakes to keep away those birds of destruction...I've never eaten Mynah bird...cooking would certainly keep this pesky bird from bothering you any longer!
Fry - Chilli?
Theanne - We went out and bought FOUR more snakes. Now we have the additional chore of moving them around every day.
Haha, they might freak people out too!
I thought it was real snake! I have one snake visit last year and 2 this year. My neighbour came accross a baby pyhton last month.....
Anyway hope the birds won't come to your house anymore!
